A wedding ceremony is a very sacred event and one of the most important rites of passage in a persons life. You need not be a member of our church to have your wedding at First Unity Church of Memphis. Our goal is to provide a spiritual, non-denominational environment for weddings at an affordable price. 

Our wedding policy respects and accommodates diversity and our services are available to people of all backgrounds. Many couples who choose to have their wedding here do not have a regular church or for some reason they cannot be married in their own church. Church membership and classes are not required, although we suggest attendance at a Sunday service at 10:30 am.     Wedding Packages & Prices

All packages include the Minister’s Fee. (Deduct $200 from Wedding Fee for Sanctuary Wedding if bringing another minister.)

Sanctuary Wedding: Services Included: Seating for up to 200 people, pre-marital meeting with couple to plan ceremony, rehearsal on same day, dressing rooms, sound system coordinator, and janitorial service. Does not include musician’s services but contacts available upon request.

Wedding Fee: $600 for up to 3 hours.

Church Members Fee: Call for more info

Rehearsal on a separate day: $150 additional Fee. (Deduct $50.00 if bringing own minister)

Informal Wedding Indoors: Services Include: 10-30 guests, in the Sanctuary, or Chapel. Includes minister’s fee. Does not include dressing rooms, or sound system music. Wedding Fee: $250 for up to 2 hours.

Informal Wedding Outdoors: Services Include: A Gazebo which seats about 30 guests, includes the minister’s fee. Does not include dressing rooms or sound system music. Folding chairs available for seating. Wedding Fee: $250 for up to 2 hours.

Private Service (on-site): In Prayer Chapel, for up to 6 people. Wedding Fee: $175 for up to 1 hour.

*Private Service (off-site): within a 30-mile radius (home or other location > of choice). Includes pre-marital meeting with couple to plan ceremony. Wedding Fee: $475 for up to 3 hours. Rehearsal on another day: Additional $150 for 1 hour. Additional Time for Rehearsal or Wedding: $100.00 per hour.

Deposit of 50% of the fee is due on scheduling of wedding. Balance is due 10 days before the wedding.
